Over time some cemeteries are
moved, forgotten, or in some cases plowed under to make room for a farm field.
I have been told that the Swedish Methodist church was only used a couple
times, and that the church did not have a cemetery. At the present time (1990)
the church, as I was told, is used as a farm building.
In the "Compendium of History
and Biography of Carver and Hennepin Counties, Minnesota" [1915] edited by
Maj. R.I. Holcombe and William H. Bingham, they wrote: 'The San Francisco
Swedish Methodist Episcopal Church organization was constituted in 1878, ...'.
