This rural cemetery has minimal care and is in fair shape. The cemetery is not fenced and it is located near the back yard of a private home. There is a plaque placed on a large rock that states:

Swedish Evangelical Lutheran - Gotaholm Church

Organized 3 December 1858

Built April 1859

Now Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown

2nd Church erected 1870

3rd Church erected 1890

4th Church erected 1949

17 August 1958 - Resting Place of 66 Pioneers
