This
cemetery has regular care and is in good shape. The cemetery is located just East and across Highway 52 from the very odorous Koch Refinery.
There are few 'newer' burials. In the north-west area there are several Civil
War burials, but are now only marked by G.A.R. 1861-1865 signs with no burial
monuments. There were several burial monuments that used a certain type of rock
which was difficult to decipher.
The
Dakota county cemetery records compilation lists this cemetery as: Pine Bend
Cemetery Association. Organized 15 June 1876. There
are burials prior to this date, some in 1874. Located NW 1/4
of Section 18. Highway 52.
This
cemetery was transcribed during 1996.

I was
not able to get a surname for these:
all I could make
out was Fanni (?)
there was a broken
stone lying flat just north of the Strathern family
plot. it appeared that this was a 2 person
burial stone. Both may have died in 1868 (?).
