This
small cemetery no longer has regular care and is in poor shape. The area is fenced off with a mix of wooden and cement posts. It
appears the lilacs were cut back in the last year or two (mid 1990's), but have
since begun to grow again. In the center of the cemetery there was a
small mound that had been covered by the re-growth of grass and weeds. The
grass patterns gave the appearance that the earth had been scraped and piled in
that area. It did not appear the be a burial mound.
The
only references to possible burials was a pair of
burial marker stones with the initials JKK and ABK. These were located near the
base of a large burial monument. The only other bit of information was a loose
piece of another slab style burial stone with: Elm?? and
son of ?, the rest was missing.
The
Dakota county cemetery compilation lists this cemetery as:
This
cemetery was transcribed in 1996.
